About Justin and Lindsay Bingham
We are Justin and Lindsay Bingham, a family of six living life to the fullest despite its challenges. Our three boys—Turin, Ashton, and Landon—and our daughter Ava mean everything to us. A Legacy of Excellence: Justin Bingham’s Career
Justin Bingham was not only a devoted father and husband but also an accomplished entrepreneur and athlete. As the CEO of Opiniion Inc., a venture-backed technology company, he brought innovation and leadership to the world of software development. Before founding Opiniion, Justin served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Nabsys, where he played a pivotal role in advancing electronic whole-genome mapping technologies.
In addition to his professional achievements, Justin excelled in sports. During his college years at Hardin-Simmons University, he set impressive records in track and field, including personal bests in the 60-meter dash (7.06 seconds), 100-meter dash (10.74 seconds), and 200-meter dash (22.38 seconds). His passion for athletics continued throughout his life, fueling his love for outdoor activities like canyoneering and hiking.
A Tragic Accident
On October 5, 2024, tragedy struck when Justin Bingham, 40, lost his life after falling between 150 to 200 feet while canyoneering near Heaps Canyon in Zion National Park. The accident occurred during what should have been another exhilarating adventure with friends. Despite the heroic efforts of over 50 rescue team members, Justin passed away, leaving behind a grieving family and countless admirers.
The world mourns the loss of a true leader, innovator, and loving father. Justin leaves behind his wife Lindsay and their four children, along with a community touched by his kindness, humor, and dedication. His passing reminds us all to cherish the moments we have with loved ones and pursue our passions safely.
